la ligne COLLAGENE is based on native collagen the cementary substance of the connective tissue. Native Collagen has strong water absorption properties and therefore it retains skin moisture, promotes skin elasticity, improves skin tone and prevents early formation of wrinkles.

Collagen is the fibre protein that holds components of the connective tissue together. In addition to skin, it is also found in bone, cartillage and other connective tissues.

Collagen is the main component of the lower layer of the skin (Dermis). It is responsible for holding the skin structure, skin firmness and strength.

Collagen is produced by the skin itself. However its production is decreased as we grow older, loss of Collagen results is less firmness to body tissues and formation of wrinkles, therefore a main aim of skin care and treatment is to reduce the loss of collagen. To do so you need to do the followings:

1) protect your skin from environmental influences such as sun rays and air pollution which causes the skin to age prematurely.

2) supply your skin with Collagen using Collagen Skin care and treatment products.

Ingredients	Native Collagen:	native collagen is the cementary substance of the connective tissue. Native Collagen has strong water absorption properties and therefore it retains skin moisture, promotes skin elasticity, improves skin tone and prevents early formation of wrinkles.
	Jojoba Oil:	Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of Simmondsia Chinesis Schrub. it is a liquid wax that has similar compisition to the natural oil that our skin produces. Jojoba oil is a natural moisturiser and healer, it is quickly absorbed by the skin and has amazing skin softening and wrinkle minimizing effects on all skin types.
	Squaline:	It is a natural component of the skin. It is considered as good emollient that has anti-oxidant and immune-stimulating properties It smoothes the skin and has a remarkable sanitizing and moisturising effect on even the driest of skin. Squaline is an excellent moisturizer and lubricant. It is very compatible with skin lipids due to the fact that 25% of human sebum is squalane.
	Vitamin E (Tocopherol):	Vitamin E protects the skin from environmental pollution and from the harmful effects of the UV radiation. It is an excellent moisturiser. Vitamin E has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and therefore it prevents premature aging, as inflammatory conditions in the skin are considered as a leading cause of skin aging. It has excellent wound healing properties. Vitamin E enhances and helps with the penetration of other compounds into the skin   Vitamin E is absorbed quickly into human skin.
	Azulene:	Azulene is found in the volatile oil extracted from Chamomile, Anthemis nobilis (Roman Chamomile), Achillea millefolium (Yarrow), or Tanacetum anuum (Blue tansy) by steam distillation. It has a distinctive spectacular blue colour. Azulene is rich in active ingredients, which together provide the skin with excellent benefits. Azulene has remarkable anti-inflammatory properties and it is excellent antioxidant and therefore it stops deterioration of skin cells and the formation of wrinkles, blemishes, lines and pigmentation. Azulene stimulates cell regeneration and combats inflammation with its anti-bacterial properties.

Application	After thorough cleansing, apply under night cream. In the morning, it is ideal as basic for make-up. In the case of greasy skin, Collagene Fluide Intensive is the ideal 24 hours treatment. Apply in the morning and evening to oily skin to give the ideal 24 hours protection.

	Avocado Oil:	Avocado Oil is a mild, nourishing, semi-fatty Oil, rich in Vitamins. It is used when the skin is dry, tired and lacks lustre.  Avocado oil contains glycerides, linoleic acid, phtosterine, vitamin A and E which make it very effective for dry scaly and dry seborrhic skin. It promotes granulation and skin regeneration.

	Shark Liver Oil	(Squaline) It is a natural component of the skin. 	Beeswax	A product of the metabolic process of the honey bee. The main part of the beeswax is a compound between palmitic acid and messyl alcohol. The skin does not absorb beeswax and therefore it creates a protective barrier that retains moisture and other nutrients in the skins.

if you are new to skin care, basic skin care includes the followings:

Products should be relevant to skin type and condition:

1. Cleansing products: ideally cleansing milk, Gel or Foam and cleansing lotion to be used on a daily basis prior to application of skin care products. Skin products will be absorbed and work best on perfectly cleansed skin.
2. Day Cream: to be applied in the morning to protect your skin from environmental influences, maintain its moisture and provide it with the necessary nutrients. It can be used as base for make up.
3. Eye Care Cream / Gel / Fluid / Mask: these are special products for the sensitive area surrounding the eyes.
4. Night cream, usually a cream with higher concentration than day cream to nourishe the skin during the night.
5. Mask depending on skin type and condition, to be used twice a week.
6. Peeling to remove the dead cells and dirt from the skin, improve skin respiration and promote skin regeneration (use once a week).
7. Extracts depending on skin type and condition to provide the skin with shock treatment. Extracts are to be used when you first start your skin care program and then once or twice a year as needed.
